Which states does ExamStates cover?
California, Texas and New York at launch, with five exams each: security guard, alcohol server, firearm safety, notary public and the DMV dealer exam in California; Level II security, License to Carry, nursing jurisprudence and the TCOLE jailer exam in Texas; FDNY F-01 and S-95, NYC Food Protection, notary public and the TLC driver exam in New York. More states are added based on demand.
Where do the questions come from?
Every question is written by ExamStates from the official source for that exam: the state handbook, statute, regulation, agency study guide or curriculum. The source is cited on every question's explanation, and every bank is checked against the regulator's current rules, with dates noted on each quiz page.
Are these the real exam questions?
No. They are original practice questions covering the same material in the same format. Real exam questions are confidential and we never copy them, or anyone else's practice tests.
